How long have you been a hairstylist?

I’ve been a stylist since 2015, I was 17 years old when I got my license.

What inspired you to become a hairstylist?

Watching my sister do hair & the happiness it brought her & her guests inspired me to become a hairstylist, as well as wanting to learn more about doing my own hair & makeup.

What are your specialties? (Ex. Haircuts, Color, Extensions, Styling)

I specialize in relaxing shampoos, scalp & hair treatments, color corrections, cuts, extensions, special event styling, makeup, hair loss treatments, & facial waxing.

What’s your favorite part about working at Lush Hair Salon?

My favorite part of working at Lush Hair Salon is seeing the growth of the salon, my individual growth, the growth of my team and the growth of our clients in their hair life and personal life, as well as the positive impact I can have on those around me.

What’s a fun fact about you that clients might now know?

A fun fact about me that clients might not know is that I love enjoying and admiring nature.

What’s your go-to product or treatment recommendation?

My favorite go to product is the Kerastase Premier Oil. It’s the most reparative oil, & it smells fantastic and luxurious. My treatment recommendation is the premiere treatment as we all expose our hair to water and with that calcium. The Premiere treatment helps decalcify the calcium buildup, leaving the hair in a more Premier state, and 99% of it’s original strength.

What do you love to do you love to do when you’re not behind the chair?

I love to catch up with my family, and spend time with them & my dogs. I also love to watch my mom cook & enjoy time outside in nature.

What’s your favorite trend or hairstyle to create?

My favorite trend is the curtain bang look. I love creating soft movement around the eyes, cheeks, and lips. I also love blowout looks.

What makes your approach to hair unique?

Making recommendations based on my clients lifestyle, & choosing looks to accentuate the facial features, skin color & eye color of my clients, as well as keeping the integrity of the hair, makes my approach to hair unique.

Do you have any advice for clients looking to maintain their hair at home?

Yes, in order to maintain their hair at home, I would recommend pre-booking their recommended appointment, using at least a salon quality shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum, heat protectant, & dry shampoo. A silk cap or silk pillowcase & shower cap are a plus.
