How long have you been a hairstylist?

I have been a hairstylist since May 2017

What inspired you to become a hairstylist?

My hair is naturally curly and I never really knew how to style it when I was young, so when I was about 12/13 I got an iPod and started doing some research. I went down this “rabbit hole” and fell in love with everything hair.

What are your specialties? (Ex. Haircuts, Color, Extensions, Styling)

Curly hair, lived-in color, and Men’s Cuts.

What’s your favorite part about working at Lush Hair Salon?

My favorite part about working at Lush is the people. I love that we all continue to learn and grow together.

What’s a fun fact about you that clients might now know?

A fun fact about me is that I’ve been at Lush since the very beginning. In a way, we kinda grew up together.

What’s your go-to product or treatment recommendation?

A good scalp treatment is EVERYTHING! (After all, healthy hair starts at the scalp). Plus, it feels soooooo good!

What do you love to do you love to do when you’re not behind the chair?

When I’m not behind the chair I love to spend time with family and friends, and travel when I can.

What’s your favorite trend or hairstyle to create?

I don’t think I can pick a favorite trend, but I always love to see all the new styles and learning how to recreate them.

What makes your approach to hair unique?

I think what makes my approach to hair unique is that I tackle every project like its own canvas. I don’t believe cuts or colors are “one size fits all” and my work usually reflects that.

Do you have any advice for clients looking to maintain their hair at home?

Using the right products makes the BIGGEST difference in how your hair looks and feels.
